The efficient synthetic protocol for aminomethylation proceeding was developed which led to obtaining a series of novel 3-(phenylamino)-methyl derivatives of 5,7-dimethyl-6-phenylazo-3?-thiazolopyridin-2-one. The conditions for aminomethylation reaction.
